Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of People & Talent to lead our People function and help build a scalable, high-performing, and inclusive workplace. As the VP of People & Talent, you will drive the development and execution of our talent and people strategies, ensuring alignment with our business objectives while fostering a culture that attracts, retains, and develops top-tier talent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Strategy & Acquisition
• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy that aligns with our growth goals and positions the company as an employer of choice.
• Lead recruitment efforts, working closely with department heads to identify and attract high-caliber talent across all functions.
• Design and implement processes for a seamless candidate experience, including employer branding, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
2. Employee Experience & Engagement
• Champion a people-first culture that emphasizes engagement, inclusivity, and diversity.
• Implement data-driven approaches to measure and improve employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention.
• Create programs that foster a sense of belonging, wellbeing, and continuous learning.
3. Learning & Development
• Design and oversee learning and development initiatives, ensuring all employees have opportunities to grow their skills and career paths.
• Lead efforts to identify leadership potential within the organization and build a robust leadership development pipeline.
• Create systems to identify skill gaps and ensure the organization is future-ready.
4. Performance Management & Rewards
• Oversee and continuously improve the performance management framework, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
• Develop compensation and benefit strategies that attract and retain talent while aligning with company budgets.
• Regularly benchmark and review compensation practices to remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
5. Culture & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
• Act as a steward of company culture, ensuring alignment with our values and mission.
• Develop and drive DEI initiatives, setting measurable goals to increase diversity and ensure a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed DEI into all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment standards across regions.
• Proactively identify people-related risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.
• Serve as an advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, legal considerations, and organizational design.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in HR or People Operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record in building and scaling talent strategies in high-growth companies, with strong business acumen.
• Deep expertise in talent acquisition, DEI, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, legal compliance, and current trends in the tech industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization, including the executive team.
• Data-driven, with a passion for leveraging analytics to improve people processes and decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and empathetic leadership style.
