As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a VP of Partnerships to build, manage, and expand our strategic partnerships. This role is crucial in developing long-term partnerships that drive revenue, expand our ecosystem, and create mutually beneficial relationships with technology, integration, and channel partners.

 

Job Summary:

The VP of Partnerships will lead the strategy, development, and execution of our partnerships program, focusing on identifying, building, and nurturing strategic alliances that drive growth. This includes developing partnerships with key technology providers, integration partners, and resellers. The VP of Partnerships will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure that partnerships align with company objectives and deliver significant value to the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Strategy Development: Develop and execute the overall partnership strategy, identifying key partnership opportunities that align with the company’s growth objectives and deliver measurable results.

Partner Ecosystem Expansion: Build and manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of strategic partners, including technology partners, integration partners, channel partners, and resellers, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Revenue Generation: Drive partnerships that contribute to the company’s revenue targets, ensuring that partnerships deliver ROI through co-selling, lead generation, joint marketing initiatives, and integrations.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the partnerships team, ensuring effective execution of partnership initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with partners. Oversee hiring, training, and development of team members as the partnerships program scales.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals. Coordinate with product teams to ensure seamless integration with technology partners and maximize joint value.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring legal and financial terms align with the company’s objectives. Manage partnership contracts, renewals, and negotiations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance, using data and KPIs to measure success and make informed decisions about the future direction of partnerships. Provide insights to leadership on the overall health and impact of the partner ecosystem.

Market Insights & Competitive Landscape: Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to identify new partnership opportunities and innovate the partnership strategy.

Partner Enablement: Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions, co-marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans. Ensure partners have the resources, tools, and support needed to be successful.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 8-10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related leadership role within a B2B SaaS company.

• Proven track record of developing and managing successful strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and business expansion.

• Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, technology partnerships, and channel programs, with a demonstrated ability to work with technology and integration partners.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing partnership teams.

• Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with partner program development, go-to-market strategy, and joint marketing efforts.

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and optimize partnership performance using KPIs and metrics.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, product, and executive teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in enterprise-level partnerships within a SaaS environment.

• Knowledge of key SaaS ecosystems, API integrations, and channel distribution models.

• Familiarity with partner management platforms (e.g., PartnerStack, Impartner) and CRM tools like Salesforce.
