Job Summary:

The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives. You will lead all marketing functions, including demand generation, brand development, content marketing, product marketing, and digital marketing. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the SaaS landscape, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing marketing teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy that drives demand generation, builds brand awareness, and supports customer acquisition and retention goals.

Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Oversee all aspects of marketing, including demand generation, content, product marketing, digital marketing, events, and PR.

Demand Generation: Build and scale a robust demand generation engine that delivers consistent, high-quality leads to the sales team. Leverage data-driven marketing campaigns to optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and conversion rates.

Brand Development & Positioning: Strengthen the company’s market position and elevate brand awareness through compelling messaging, positioning, and creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

Product Marketing: Collaborate closely with product and sales teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials that effectively communicate the value of the product to different market segments.

Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, and web optimization, to ensure online presence is optimized for lead generation and customer engagement.

Content & Thought Leadership: Develop and manage a content strategy that positions the company as a thought leader in the industry, supporting both lead generation and brand credibility. This includes blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and industry events.

Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics, KPIs, and market research to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance. Continuously refine marketing strategies based on data insights and market feedback.

Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated to the most impactful initiatives and channels to maximize ROI.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team, sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure alignment on company goals, market positioning, and customer messaging.

Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, verticals, and geographies to support business expansion and lead generation efforts.

Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to the executive team and board on marketing performance, campaign outcomes, and key insights. Adjust strategies based on performance data.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 8-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a B2B SaaS company.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

• Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, buyer personas, and product positioning.

• Hands-on experience with demand generation, digital marketing, content marketing, and product marketing in a SaaS environment.

• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to develop and manage high-performing marketing teams.

• Deep knowledge of marketing automation, CRM platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics).

• Data-driven decision-making and a strong focus on metrics to measure and improve performance.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in launching marketing strategies that expand into new markets or verticals.

• Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and enterprise-level sales support.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
