Job Summary:

The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive high-quality leads. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and content optimization tailored to the B2B SaaS space. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, results-oriented, and skilled in collaborating with marketing, content, and development teams to achieve measurable SEO growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with business goals, focusing on driving organic traffic, improving rankings, and generating qualified leads.

Technical SEO: Ensure the website is optimized for search engines, addressing issues related to site architecture, indexing, crawlability, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and technical SEO elements such as schema markup and robots.txt.

On-Page Optimization: Oversee keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structure to ensure web pages are fully optimized for target keywords and search intent.

Content Strategy & Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to develop SEO-focused content strategies, providing guidelines on topics, keyword targeting, and content optimization to improve organic visibility.

Link-Building & Outreach: Lead efforts to acquire high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and content marketing to improve domain authority and off-page SEO performance.

SEO Audits & Monitoring: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement, diagnose issues, and recommend fixes. Monitor SEO performance through analytics and provide actionable insights.

Reporting & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and lead generation. Use data to optimize and refine SEO strategies.

Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive SEO analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market, adjusting strategies based on findings.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, development, and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest trends and algorithm changes in search engines (e.g., Google, Bing) to ensure the company is following best practices and adapting strategies as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic rankings, driving traffic, and generating leads for a B2B SaaS or technology company.

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies.

• Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and other relevant platforms.

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.

• Ability to analyze complex data sets and turn insights into actionable SEO strategies.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website development principles as they pertain to SEO.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex SEO data and strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in SEO within the SaaS or technology sector, with a focus on B2B marketing.

• Knowledge of paid search (PPC) strategies and how they interact with organic search.

• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo.

• Experience in international SEO and managing multi-language/multi-country SEO strategies.
