Job Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for our SaaS products. This role is responsible for developing and executing product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies that resonate with our target audience. You’ll work closely with the product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure a strong product-market fit, while enabling the sales team with the tools and collateral needed to effectively communicate our product value. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of B2B SaaS and the ability to drive product adoption and customer success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and feature releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.

Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that clearly communicates the unique value of our SaaS products to target audiences and differentiates us from competitors.

Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create product collateral, including sales decks, case studies, one-pagers, and competitive analysis, to enable them to effectively sell the product.

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Customer & Competitor Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback, case studies, and testimonials to help refine product positioning and feature development. Monitor competitor products and market movements to adjust messaging and tactics as needed.

Demand Generation Support: Partner with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads. Provide input on content strategy and marketing assets to align with the product roadmap.

Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, including internal training, external messaging, and promotional activities. Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product rollouts.

Customer Retention & Advocacy: Collaborate with customer success to develop materials that promote product adoption, usage, and satisfaction. Create case studies and success stories that demonstrate product value.

Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously optimize messaging, content, and GTM strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product marketing efforts align with overall company goals.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for SaaS products.

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, customer lifecycle, and the B2B sales process.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling product messaging.

• Experience conducting market research and using data to inform marketing strategies and product decisions.

• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics platforms.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in enterprise or mid-market SaaS.

• Familiarity with product management processes and Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of SaaS-specific metrics such as ARR, churn, and CLTV.
