Job Summary:

The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the systems, processes, and data that support marketing activities and campaigns. The role involves optimizing the marketing tech stack, maintaining clean data, and ensuring that marketing strategies are effectively driving pipeline and revenue. This position requires a mix of analytical skills, technical know-how, and marketing knowledge to ensure our marketing operations are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution: Manage and optimize the marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and content syndication.

Lead Management & Scoring: Oversee lead management processes, including lead scoring, segmentation, nurturing workflows, and ensuring the seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team.

Data & Analytics: Own the marketing data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems (CRM, automation platforms, analytics tools). Provide regular reports and insights on key performance metrics (e.g., MQLs, SQLs, pipeline influence, ROI) and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Marketing Technology Stack Management: Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, ensuring that tools are integrated, fully utilized, and support the team’s goals. Identify new technologies that can enhance marketing efficiency.

Campaign Performance Tracking: Set up and monitor tracking systems (e.g., UTM parameters, campaign tagging) to ensure accurate reporting of campaign performance across all channels. Develop dashboards for leadership to track marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales operations, revenue operations, and IT to align systems, processes, and data for efficient lead flow and reporting. Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals and outcomes.

Budget Management: Support the marketing team with budget tracking and spend allocation, ensuring marketing investments are optimized for the best return.

Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve marketing processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness in campaign execution, lead management, and reporting.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in all marketing operations and maintain clean and organized databases.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS.

• Proven expertise in managing marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and other marketing technologies.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Experience with lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing workflows.

• Knowledge of key marketing metrics and performance indicators, with experience reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices in data management.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).

• Familiarity with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies and supporting technology.

• Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages for deeper data analysis.

• Experience in demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer journey mapping.
