Position Summary:
The Head of People & Talent will drive and shape our people strategy to attract, retain, and develop top talent, aligning it closely with our business goals. Reporting directly to the CEO (or another executive), you will work closely with leaders across departments to foster a culture of excellence, engagement, and inclusivity. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, DE&I, and HR operations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
• Develop and implement an end-to-end talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across all functions, ensuring a consistent pipeline of skilled professionals to support our growth.
• Enhance our employer brand to reflect our mission, values, and culture, positioning [Company Name] as an employer of choice in the SaaS sector.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define roles, and drive an efficient and inclusive hiring process.
2. Culture & Employee Engagement
• Build and maintain a positive, high-performing, and inclusive work culture where employees are motivated and aligned with the company’s vision.
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a sense of belonging, recognize contributions, and encourage open communication.
• Drive strategies to boost employee retention and promote internal mobility.
3. Learning & Development
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive learning and development program to support employees’ personal and professional growth, enabling them to advance their careers within the company.
• Identify and create opportunities for skill-building and leadership development across the organization.
• Implement a scalable onboarding program to set new hires up for success.
4. Performance Management
• Lead the design and implementation of a performance management process that supports growth, feedback, and alignment with business goals.
• Establish systems to track and evaluate individual and team performance, enabling data-driven decisions about promotions, compensation, and development plans.
• Coach leaders and managers to set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and build high-performing teams.
5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)
• Champion DE&I initiatives across the organization, working to create an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.
• Establish measurable DE&I goals and track progress, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
• Educate and enable teams on DE&I best practices, fostering a culture of equity and belonging.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
• Oversee HR policies, benefits, and compliance to ensure they are aligned with local regulations and industry best practices.
• Use HR metrics to analyze and improve key processes, optimize the employee lifecycle, and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure a smooth and compliant HR operation, leveraging technology and tools to streamline processes.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of progressive experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent Management, with 3+ years in a leadership role in a high-growth B2B SaaS or tech company.
• Proven track record of building and leading people teams, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, and DE&I.
• Strong strategic and operational HR skills, with the ability to work both hands-on and at a high level.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a passion for building inclusive, motivated teams.
• Proficiency in HR software and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable to a global or remote-first workforce.
