Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Manager to lead the launch and expansion strategies for our B2B SaaS products. This role is key to driving our growth by orchestrating product-market fit, positioning, and the execution of data-backed go-to-market plans. The GTM Strategy Manager will work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
As the GTM Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing comprehensive launch and expansion strategies, identifying target segments, and optimizing cross-functional processes to bring new products and features to market. This is a highly strategic and visible role where you will have a direct impact on the company’s success and growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
1. GTM Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and personas based on data and market insights.
• Create messaging and positioning frameworks to clearly articulate the value proposition to target customers.
• Manage cross-functional GTM plans, coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
2. Market Research & Analysis
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics, and use this information to influence product and marketing strategies.
• Develop insights on customer segments, personas, and pain points to refine GTM strategies and ensure product-market fit.
• Monitor KPIs to track the success of GTM initiatives and optimize strategies based on performance metrics.
3. Sales Enablement & Customer Success Alignment
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure they are equipped with the tools, resources, and training needed to communicate product value effectively.
• Develop enablement materials, such as pitch decks, product briefs, case studies, and objection handling guides, tailored to the needs of the sales team.
• Establish feedback loops with sales and customer success to continuously refine positioning and messaging based on real-world insights.
4. Cross-functional Leadership & Project Management
• Act as the project manager for GTM initiatives, driving alignment and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Organize and lead regular cross-functional GTM syncs to review progress, address blockers, and adjust plans as needed.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration and shared goals.
5. Performance Analysis & Optimization
• Set, track, and report on the KPIs and success metrics for each GTM initiative, identifying areas for optimization.
• Use data and customer feedback to iterate on strategies and improve product positioning, messaging, and pricing.
• Regularly present GTM results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in GTM strategy, product marketing, or related roles, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Skills: Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and manage complex projects.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategies and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
• Sales Enablement: Experience creating enablement resources for sales teams and collaborating closely with sales leadership.
• Customer-Centricity: Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and buying journeys within the B2B SaaS space.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with product management principles and agile development processes.
• Previous experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments.
