Role Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, scaling our sales organization, and executing strategic initiatives. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and refine sales strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) or CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed quotas.
• Partner with leadership to define and refine value propositions, market positioning, and sales priorities.
• Identify and address areas for improvement in the sales process, tools, and team performance.
Team Management
• Recruit, onboard, and train sales talent to build a world-class sales team.
• Establish clear performance metrics and implement regular performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the sales team.
Revenue & Growth
• Own and deliver on revenue targets, sales forecasts, and pipeline management.
• Optimize the sales funnel and improve conversion rates at every stage.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment between demand generation and sales activities.
Market Expansion & Client Success
• Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, including untapped markets and industries.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners.
• Gather and analyze market feedback to refine product offerings and messaging.
Qualifications:
Required
• Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role within a B2B SaaS organization.
• Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, metrics, and strategies.
• Experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing sales teams.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Data-driven mindset with expertise in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and analytics platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred
• Experience with enterprise sales and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
