Job Summary:

As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s overall marketing strategy. This role will focus on demand generation, product marketing, brand development, and marketing operations. You will oversee a team of marketing professionals, collaborate closely with sales and product teams, and report directly to senior leadership. Your ultimate goal is to drive customer acquisition, increase lead generation, and enhance the company’s market presence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy, aligned with the company’s growth goals and objectives. Define key initiatives for demand generation, product marketing, content marketing, and brand awareness.

Demand Generation: Oversee and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, SEO, PPC, social media, webinars, content, etc.) to generate qualified leads for the sales team. Focus on lead nurturing, conversion rates, and pipeline growth.

Brand Development: Strengthen the company’s brand positioning in the market through consistent messaging, brand storytelling, and creative marketing campaigns. Ensure brand integrity across all channels and touchpoints.

Product Marketing: Work closely with product management to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the value of the company’s solutions. Oversee product launches and collaborate on customer education efforts.

Marketing Operations: Manage the marketing tech stack, ensuring seamless integration of CRM, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms. Ensure that marketing efforts are data-driven and trackable, delivering regular reports on key performance metrics.

Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of high-quality content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, etc.) that drives engagement and supports lead generation efforts. Ensure content is optimized for SEO and speaks to the needs of our target audience.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Recruit, onboard, and develop marketing talent as needed.

Collaboration with Sales & Product: Work closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, create seamless lead handoff processes, and support the sales team with necessary collateral and resources.

Marketing Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize ROI across campaigns and initiatives. Monitor and report on budget performance regularly.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Continuously analyze marketing performance metrics, campaign results, and customer data to refine strategies and optimize effectiveness. Make data-driven decisions to improve lead generation and customer acquisition.

Event Strategy: Plan and manage company participation in key industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand presence and support lead generation efforts.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

• 7-10 years of marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or director-level role.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation and lead generation strategies that drive business growth.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, content marketing, email, social media, etc.) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).

• Experience in product marketing, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for SaaS products.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and grow a marketing team.

• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using data to make informed decisions.

• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to align on goals and strategies.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Knowledge of enterprise sales cycles and how marketing can support complex B2B sales processes.

• Experience in global or multi-market marketing strategies.
