Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
• Develop, implement, and execute a scalable inside sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Set clear KPIs and goals for the team, ensuring alignment with overall revenue and growth targets.
• Lead demand generation and lead qualification efforts in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Operations.
Team Leadership and Development
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of inside sales representatives and managers.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, and performance excellence.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
Sales Process Optimization
• Analyze and refine sales processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee CRM management to ensure accurate tracking of sales metrics, pipeline management, and forecasting.
• Implement and standardize best practices in outreach, follow-up, and closing techniques to improve conversion rates.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Partnerships
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on strategy and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Provide feedback to Product and Marketing based on customer insights and competitive intelligence to drive product improvement and positioning.
Reporting and Analysis
• Track and report on key metrics and performance indicators for the inside sales team.
• Leverage data and analytics to assess team performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting.
• Present insights and progress to the executive team and provide recommendations for further growth.
Requirements
Experience
• 7+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and managing high-performance inside sales teams.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and pipeline management in a SaaS context.
Skills
• Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analytics.
