This role is critical to developing and executing strategies that generate leads, increase customer acquisition, and nurture prospects through the funnel.

 

Job Summary:

The Demand Generation Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads for the sales team. The role involves managing a variety of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, paid media, content marketing, and SEO. You will work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to align demand generation efforts with the company’s revenue goals and optimize every stage of the marketing funnel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement demand generation strategies across multiple channels, including email, content marketing, SEO/SEM, paid social, and events/webinars to drive lead generation and nurture prospects.

Lead Generation & Nurturing: Create and optimize campaigns that generate high-quality leads and move prospects through the sales funnel. Monitor lead flow, qualification, and handoff to the sales team.

Marketing Funnel Optimization: Develop strategies to improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel, from awareness and consideration to lead capture and handoff to sales. Track and report on key performance metrics (e.g., MQLs, SQLs, pipeline growth).

Paid Media Management: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others to maximize ROI and increase visibility for key target audiences.

Content Development: Collaborate with the content team to develop relevant, high-converting content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, landing pages) that supports demand generation and helps educate prospects on our SaaS solutions.

ABM & Segmentation: Execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and segmentation to engage key accounts, personalize outreach, and align with sales goals.

Collaboration with Sales: Partner with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead generation goals, lead scoring criteria, and lead handoff processes. Collaborate on marketing-qualified lead (MQL) feedback and campaign optimizations.

CRM & Marketing Automation: Manage CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) to build and nurture marketing campaigns, track lead engagement, and deliver insights to the sales team.

Event Marketing: Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, industry conferences, and trade shows, to generate demand and enhance brand visibility.

Reporting & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on demand generation performance, including ROI, cost per lead, conversion rates, and overall campaign effectiveness. Use data to make recommendations for future campaigns.

Budget Management: Manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimization of marketing spend.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4-6 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Proven track record of creating and executing successful demand generation campaigns that drive lead generation and revenue growth.

• Strong experience with paid media, email marketing, content marketing, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).

• Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and segmentation strategies.

• Solid understanding of the B2B buyer journey and SaaS sales funnel.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaigns.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, content, and product teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SEO/SEM, retargeting campaigns, and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).

• Experience managing demand generation in specific verticals or industries.

• Familiarity with lead scoring models and nurturing workflows.
