As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Demand Generation Marketing Director to lead the strategy and execution of our demand generation initiatives, ensuring a consistent and scalable pipeline of qualified leads for our sales team.

 

Job Summary:

The Demand Generation Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of demand generation, from strategy development to execution and optimization. This role focuses on creating and managing campaigns that generate high-quality leads, drive customer acquisition, and fuel revenue growth. You will collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on lead generation efforts and to maximize ROI from marketing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, data analytics, and inbound and outbound marketing channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy that drives qualified leads and pipeline growth, contributing to overall company revenue objectives.

Campaign Management: Lead the creation and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, paid search, paid social, webinars, content marketing, SEO) to attract, nurture, and convert prospects.

Lead Nurturing & Scoring: Develop and manage lead nurturing programs that engage and guide prospects through the buying journey, using marketing automation tools to create personalized campaigns. Establish a robust lead scoring system to ensure sales-ready leads are prioritized.

Marketing & Sales Alignment: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead quality, lead handoff processes, and overall sales pipeline health. Maintain regular communication with sales leadership to optimize conversion rates and marketing effectiveness.

Data & Analytics: Use data-driven insights to continuously analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations for optimizing lead generation efforts. Track and report on key metrics, such as MQLs, SQLs, cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROI.

Budget Management: Manage the demand generation budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI from each marketing channel and campaign. Allocate resources based on performance data and business needs.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of demand generation specialists and other marketing professionals, ensuring that all campaigns are executed effectively and team members are developing their skills.

Tech Stack Optimization: Oversee the marketing tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and ensure it is fully optimized to support demand generation efforts, from lead tracking to nurturing and reporting.

Content Collaboration: Work closely with content marketing and product marketing teams to develop high-value content, such as white papers, eBooks, webinars, case studies, and blog posts, to support demand generation campaigns.

Market Insights & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to ensure that demand generation efforts are relevant, timely, and effective.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Proven track record of developing and executing demand generation strategies that drive significant pipeline growth and customer acquisition.

• Deep understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, webinars) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.

• Experience managing a demand generation team and working cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales cycles and customer acquisition strategies.

• Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools.

• Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).

• Experience in scaling demand generation programs for international or multi-region markets.
