Position Overview
As the Chief of Staff, you will serve as the right hand to the CEO and a strategic advisor to the executive team, driving efficiency, alignment, and execution across the company. You’ll work cross-functionally, bridging leadership with operations to streamline initiatives and optimize decision-making. This role is essential for supporting growth and ensuring our operations are aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
• Support the CEO in defining and driving the company’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
• Lead the annual planning and quarterly OKR setting process, ensuring alignment and accountability across departments.
• Monitor key performance metrics and report on progress to the executive team.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Executive Operations
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on key company issues and provide thought leadership on operational improvements.
• Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and other executives, ensuring alignment and seamless communication.
• Manage executive meetings, including agenda setting, preparation, and follow-up, driving clarity and accountability.
• Provide decision support to the CEO and executive team through analysis, research, and synthesizing data.
Project Management
• Oversee and execute high-priority projects that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements, establishing best practices for cross-functional operations.
• Track project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Team Alignment and Communication
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration to keep teams aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
• Develop and manage internal communication strategies to enhance transparency and engagement.
• Represent the CEO and executive team in internal meetings, acting as a proxy when necessary to maintain momentum.
Talent Development and Culture
• Work closely with the People Operations team to enhance leadership development programs and promote a positive, collaborative culture.
• Assist in hiring for senior roles, providing a unique perspective on candidates and team fit.
• Drive engagement initiatives, ensuring a unified culture across remote and in-office teams.
Qualifications
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in a strategic, operations, or consulting role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven track record of influencing senior leaders and driving change across an organization.
• Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with an ability to make data-driven recommendations.
• Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills and a successful history of leading cross-functional projects to completion.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with SaaS tools (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Asana, Google Suite) and a strong aptitude for learning new technology.
