Job Description: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our B2B SaaS company through the next phase of growth. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, managing overall operations, and ensuring the alignment of our product, sales, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, a track record of scaling B2B technology companies, and strong leadership skills to inspire a team of talented professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and communicate a clear vision and long-term strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and market opportunities.

• Work with the executive team to set and execute business goals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and expansion into new markets.

• Oversee competitive analysis and market research to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of industry trends and customer needs.

2. Financial Oversight:

• Manage company financials, including budget creation, financial forecasting, and oversight of cash flow to achieve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Report regularly to the board on financial performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.

• Drive capital-raising efforts, if necessary, by establishing strong relationships with investors and presenting a compelling business case for growth.

3. Product & Technology:

• Collaborate closely with the product and technology teams to ensure our SaaS solutions remain innovative, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

• Oversee product roadmap decisions to prioritize features and functionalities that enhance customer satisfaction and increase market share.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and privacy requirements.

4. Sales & Marketing:

• Set revenue goals and work with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.

• Oversee strategic partnerships and alliances to increase market reach and strengthen the brand’s position.

• Leverage data-driven insights to optimize customer experience and improve the sales cycle.

5. Operational Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented company culture.

• Implement best-in-class operational processes to improve productivity and customer success outcomes.

• Promote a strong company culture that aligns with our core values of innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.

6. Customer Success & Retention:

• Champion the voice of the customer across the organization, ensuring that customer feedback informs product, support, and sales strategies.

• Focus on customer retention and churn reduction by supporting a customer-first approach and enhancing user engagement.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a B2B SaaS company, with a proven record of achieving growth and operational goals.

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L and scaling SaaS business models.

• Exceptional understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR, CAC, LTV, MRR, and retention/churn rates.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective go-to-market and product strategies.

• Strong track record in building and leading high-performing teams.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
