The Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential prospects in target markets, leveraging tools like LinkedIn, CRM, and email campaigns.

Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage with key decision-makers and initiate meaningful conversations about our SaaS solutions.

Inbound Lead Follow-up: Respond to inbound leads from marketing campaigns, qualify prospects, and convert them into sales opportunities.

Discovery Calls: Schedule discovery meetings or product demos for the sales team by identifying the prospect’s pain points and business challenges.

Qualification: Assess potential customers’ fit for the company’s product by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process, and ensure they align with the company’s target market.

Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized pipeline of leads and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting on activity and results.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for penetrating new markets and improving lead conversion rates.

Market Insights: Gather feedback from prospects on common challenges and market trends to help inform the sales strategy and product development.

Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs and sales targets for qualified leads and meetings scheduled.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service (experience in B2B SaaS is a plus, but not required).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions.

• High level of comfort with cold outreach (calls, emails, and social media).

• Results-oriented and self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the SaaS industry or software sales.

• Knowledge of outbound sales strategies and best practices.

• Experience using sales engagement tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
