Strive has been retained exclusively by a renowned European Venture Capital firm to hire a Chief Commercial Officer / Chief Revenue Officer for one of their early-stage portfolio companies.
The company are within the Gen AI and Robotics space and has had phenomenal success since its inception.
The Company:
- GenAI Vendor within Robotics
- SaaS, Cloud infrastructure, LLM and Hardware components to their value proposition.
- Sub $10m in annual recurring revenue (but have clear PMF)
- Backed by leading VCs in the tech space and gearing up for another funding round this year.
- Huge market opportunity (actually mind-blowing)
The Role:
- Chief Commercial / Chief Revenue Officer
- Reporting into the CEO
- Full ownership over GTM (Marketing, Sales, Channel, Customer Success)
- Build out the GTM Strategy
- Build the GTM org from the ground up (foundational team in place)
- Drive revenue growth globally
- Expand globally - Predominantly EU-focused right now
- Fully Remote - but with travel expectations to HQ
- Locations preferred: UK, or Continental Europe
The GTM Motion:
- Marketing is small but working well and needs building out
- Sales motion is highly complex, Enterprise deals (up to $30m TCV deals) targeting top tier companies within oil&gas, chemical, energy, utilities, manufacturing and security.
- Need to build out sales org
- Need to build out in-direct sales org
- Customer Success - The initial team in place, needs to build out.
- All deals to date have come inbound or through partners
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrable track record of leading GTM in a SaaS, Infrastructure, High-Growth Tech business
- Proven experience in leading a Marketing, Sales and CS org
- Experience in highly complex, strategic sales (AOV >¢1m Annually)
- Experience selling into Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Energy, and Utilities - (Ie customers with physical assets)
- +/- 3hours from CET
- Happy with travel
- Fluent English
